Loveland Colorado Senior Photographer | Tara - Mountain View High School, Class of 2017

Back when we first met late last summer, Tara and her mom knew that they would want a little session in the spring as well and of course I was on board! I think its always hard to pick one season for your session as each one really has its perks. I mean there is always the gorgeous green grass and sunshine during a summer shoot. The fall lends so nicely for scarves and boots and those gorgeous fall colors. Winter in Colorado is fickle but those gentle, humongous snow flakes or even that winter wonderland vibe with mittens and a cute beanie would be so perfect for a senior session! And of course, just like Tara's session here, spring has that warming-up vibe with the possibility of really any weather but the inclusion of the graduation cap and gown which is really fun.

Tara opted for those fall colors for her first session and you can check that out here! But for her spring session, she knew that she wanted to do a more urban look. Our cute town of Loveland, Colorado does have a super cute downtown with some really great back alley treasures and we went on a hunt to find them.

When I saw this puddled, at first all I could see is the nasty brown color of it. Tara and I captured a couple shots with it just for fun. It wasn't until I was able to get this one home and edit it that I realized how much I love it! I am sure I seemed a little crazy trying to take some images of a gross puddle but I love when my seniors trust me to capture something fun and different!

The spot we used had some cute funky murals and I loved that Tara was so game to play up these cute monkeys! Its all about showing off that playful side in your photos - there are certainly opportunities for those gorgeous, more serious images but I love when seniors opt to let that fun side shine through their images!

Tara chose to wear her Little Black Dress for her session and with her great heels, I think it looks so classy! I loved the touch of gold jewelry she chose to wear as well!

We also added her graduation cap to commemorate her achievement in graduating from high school. We were able to time this session just right so that she had her cap in hand but still had some time to get her images and showcase them at her graduation party!

Just a perfect senior session to show off even more of Tara's personality! If you are interested in booking your senior session with me, contact me!
