Loveland CO Senior Photographer | Community Outreach Session - Class of 2020 Senior VIP Team

I know I have said it before, but I will say it again: I work with the most amazing Seniors and families! This year I was able to work with seniors from 7 area high schools and create images unique to who they are and what they are all about.

My Senior VIP Team is no exception. These are my seniors who signed on early to ensure that their senior portrait experience was more than just one day. They have been doing group shoots with me now for almost a year and we have built some authentic and beautiful relationships. Not only that but we just love to be around each other! This year I teamed up with fellow photographer Jessica Parish of Jessica Ashley Photography and we were able to do a little community outreach project together. It was a really great way to encourage both of our teams to look a little outside of ourselves and to volunteer our time and money to uplift others.

This year, we decided to pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We pooled our money and bought toys and items that we thought might brighten a child's day and together we packed more than 25 boxes. OCC will then pack these boxes up to ship over seas to hand out to children in third world countries. They also focus on sharing the Gospel with these children and giving them the opportunity to know Jesus. It seemed fitting to partner with these guys as we head into this week before Christmas.

We had a lot of fun looking through the cute things we had purchased and picking out certain things to go together. The girls then took a moment to write a note to each child and I really think there is a lot of power in addressing that child. They took the time to purposefully put the items together, to think about that child, and to pray over them.

Afterwards, we were able to use the space at Sugar Hill Studios to create some fun winter images. They had a really cute Christmas set up with greenery as well as fresh snow outside so we had a blast creating these images.

Not only that, but I was even able to jump in the pictures for a little bit. Even though I would much rather be on the other side of the camera, these pictures with three of my team members not only turned out pretty adorable, they are pretty special to have. A huge thank you Jessica for capturing these and for teaming up for this fun event!

For those of you reading that are high school students Class of 2021 or know of one, I am currently looking for members of my Senior VIP Team. There is a ton more information as to what this is and how it all works over on my website so feel free to head on over there and check things out! Or, feel free to share this with any juniors you may know. The team is filling up fast, so be sure to sign up quick if you are in! Thanks so much!!
