At one point during Paige's session, as I was riding in their Gator with the wind in my hair heading to our next spot, my heart was just bursting with joy as I was capturing the epitome of Colorado Senior Pictures. We had the Rocky Mountains as our back drop with green rolling farmland as far as we could see and Paige had selected the perfect set of outfits to showcase all the different facets of who she is.
First up, Paige wanted to highlight her athletic side and showcase her love and dedication to track and field and cheer. Paige has worked hard to be one of the best pole vaulters in the state for her school division as well as an important part of the cheer squad. And might I say, we had a great time capturing these sides of her on her home field at Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, CO.
After that, we spent some time in the super cute downtown area in Johnstown to showcase Paige's super cute style. Since she works part time in a clothing boutique, Paige had put together an outfit that added to the overall vibe in a way that really captured who she is.
After a quick drive out of town, we headed to Paige's family farm for the remainder of the night. Our first look was a classic white dress which worked amazingly next to the tall green grasses and the warm summer sunshine. I mean really the images speak for themselves so I will just get to sharing those!
After a quick change and a gator ride we got to show off a whole other side to Paige - one that was really such a finale for me. You see, not only is Paige intelligent, hard working, sweet, and determined, she is also compassionate and so kind. One of the ways Paige contributes to her family is that she helps raise baby cows that come to her family farm. Typically these little guys wouldn't make it without their moms so Paige and her family bottle feed them and care for them as they grow. It was a unique and very fun element to capture of Paige.
This session was clearly such a highlight of the summer and I feel so blessed to have been able to create this with Paige and her family. And just like this one, it's always my goal to create a session that really captures and showcases the different facets of that senior. I cannot wait to work with the next class and create these images that are as unique as the senior herself!
