If you know Julia at all, you know that she is a smart, kind, hardworking, and fun young lady and that "colorful" was a great way to describe her. When we were planning her session out, I knew we would be incorporating lots of color into her session and I was so there for it! The day of Julia's session was a very warm summer day but we got right to work capturing Julia amongst all the flowers at the CSU Trial Gardens. Pay close attention to Julia's footwear - its the little details that make the difference here people!!
Gosh, isn't Julia stunning??! All the little details came together for her session, including those yellow floral Vans shoes! Next up we jumped across the street after a quick wardrobe change to capture some more beautiful images.
After creating these colorful images, we decided to change up the location and head out to Horsetooth Reservoir. Now I know that Horsetooth is a pretty popular place for senior portraits but its pretty obvious why. Not only is it a stunning location but it really is just such a Colorado vibe! So in honor of that, Julia did rock her Chacos and Patagonia fleece even though it was 90+ degrees out. But it was worth it!
And for the finale of our session, Julia changed up her look once more to incorporate an adorable dress and boots. With Horsetooth Reservoir as her backdrop, the images turned out so perfect! Man, I am loving all that Colorado Sunshine and so ready for more of that this summer!
Sometimes knowing what to wear for your session can be a little stressful but my best advice is to wear what you love and what feels like the most you! With a couple different types of outfits (for example: casual, fancy, one that showcases a hobby or passion of yours) you can really bring out your own style and personality so that the senior pictures we create together are just so YOU!
