I am so excited to introduce you all to Maggie who I was blessed to have taught in science class a couple times over the last few years and in that time I was able get to know just how amazing she is. She is smart and hard working and seriously one of the kindest human beings I know. I was so honored to be able to create these images with her.
For Maggie's session we decided to head out to her Grandparents' farm where we were able to spend the evening capturing some perfect outfits in a place that holds a special spot in her heart.
A really fun part of Maggie's session was who she brought with her. Her mother was with us and so was her best friend Ava and Ava's mom. So of course we had to snap a few of the BFFs while we were all together.
After a quick change of clothes we went to other edge of the pasture and were able to capture more images. I am so glad that Maggie chose a date for her session in June. We had such beautiful green grass and even wildflowers. It was warm and we definitely needed bug spray but it was so worth it to create these stunning images.
One of the reasons we were planning to use Maggie's grandparents' farm was that personal connection from all the days she spent there as she was growing up. Another reason was the animals! We were able to spend some time with both Cheyenne the horse and some of the sweet cows that call the pastures home.
After one last outfit change, we were able to explore the farm for some picturesque spots. We were able to use the tractor that her grandfather drives as well as grain silos and barns that have been on the property for decades. It really was a great backdrop but that may be my country girl roots talking. :)
And of course, we had to do a couple more pictures with Ava.
This session was so much fun and such an honor to capture for Maggie and her family. The images captured her sweet spirit out on the farm that has been such a big part of her life. Being able to use a private location with so much meaning is a great addition to any session. Whenever I am working with families to design their senior session, I always ask if they have access to any special locations. That personal touch always adds such a fun element to the session and really sets it apart from everyone else.
