The first thing you might notice about Ellie is her beautiful eyes, or maybe her smile with her irresistible dimple. It might be her style or her overall put together gorgeous look. I think no matter what catches your attention first, it is easy to see just how beautiful Ellie is.
The first time I met Ellie, it was that smile that caught my eye. I knew it would be so easy to capture her beauty because she so easily flashed that grin. But what I quickly found out about Ellie, is like most senior girls, she is so much more than a pretty face. She is strong and determined. She is incredibly hard working and cares deeply for her family. She is a loyal friend and someone that people can look up to. She is a goal-setter and a goal-getter and there isn't anything that can stop her from accomplishing her dreams.
We planned out our session to include beautiful flowers and so we headed over to Brookside Gardens in Berthoud to take full advantage of their gorgeous landscaping and flowers. Ellie planed her outfits to stand out among these flowers and I love how polished she looks. Picking out the right stuff to wear can be daunting but when you go with the stuff that you love, that highlights your features like your coloring and eyes, then you cannot go wrong!
After that, we headed out to a couple fun little spots up by Cater Lake. We wanted a little bit of a boho vibe so we found some ungroomed, tall grass as well as a dirt road. We even found an awesome mailbox that matched her super cute boho dress and that was a fun little prop to incorporate.
We finished up at Carter Lake to take advantage of the gorgeous end of the day light. We wanted to high light her letter jacket as well as a bold lip to give her a ton of variety in her images. I mean, if you have learned one thing about Ellie, it is that she is multi-faceted. She represents a lot of seniors out there who are not just into on thing or one look or who can be described one way. Ellie is many incredible things and it was so fun to try and capture as many of those amazing aspects of who she is as we could.
